meet rachel

Meet Rachel. We love her! We have never met, yet feel like we've known her forever. Elder Rawle and Elder Tinker baptized her. She has been a blessing in Connor's life. Connor has been a blessing in her life. Funny how the gospel works that way. Connor will be leaving Rangiora next month. Change is good, yet leaving Rachel, her husband Kelvin, and her 3 great kids will be very hard for Connor. The bond was immediate and very strong.

How grateful we are for missionary work that brings lives together and sends blessings that last through eternity. We are grateful to Rachel. She has been a bright ray of sunshine for Connor and for us. 7300 miles divide us, but we are closer than ever.

This brought tears to my eyes. How neat that Connor is able to develop such immediate and lasting relationships. I'm sure this helps having him gone to know that there are people far away who are helping take care of Connor as well as Connor helping them.

Awesome! I love missionary stories, and especially when they can find people to bring into the Gospel. What a blessing Connor is in many people's lives!

That is so awesome. It's so great Connor found someone he could become so close to and bless the lives of her family and future generations. It's nice to know he has people in New Zealand who love him and are grateful for his work. I'm sure Connor will be really sad to leave her and her family.
It will be fun for him to be in a new area!
